I was just telling Sherry today that I didn't realize Jake had such red red hair.

Several years ago, Jake and Kyle were riding in the pickup with Don and me on the way to Solberg's Cabins. I decided that it would be a good time for me to teach my grandkids more about God and encourage them to have a personal relationship with Jesus. I told them about the many times that Jesus returned after His death and the thousands of eye witnesses, etc. As I talked, I noticed that Jake had leaned forward, so as not to miss a word, his eyes were fixed on mine, & he was listening,
REALLY listening. When I was through talking I asked Jake if he agreed or disagreed with me. He said he agreed. Then, Jake talked for awhile. I was astounded at what I learned! Jake had a comprehensive understanding of the Bible, God's relationship with man before the birth of Jesus, and the history of Jesus Christ. Jake's
spiritual maturity was beyond most people 3-4 times his age... including mine!
Like a butterfly leaving his cocoon, Jake has left his earthly body to be with the Lord he loves and honors... and... until we meet
again - may we all rest in peace.
